Vote Mama Fall Political Fellowship

Vote Mama Foundation is seeking fall Political Fellows to support the work of the Political Director.

Vote Mama is the only organization in the country solely dedicated to increasing the political power of Democratic moms by disrupting the systems that hold women back through direct financial support, mentorship, and endorsements.  Vote Mama PAC looks forward to welcoming a group of fall fellows, who will engage in shared learning and play an instrumental role in continuing to build our growing organization. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Compiling candidate resources.

  • Provide support with endorsement coordination (schedule endorsement interviews, document meeting minutes).

  • Assist with communications surrounding endorsement announcements.

  • Track and amplify current endorsed candidates’ campaign successes and needs.

  • Track and amplify alumni legislative successes.

  • Assist with Get Out the Vote efforts.

  • Organize and maintain candidate information files.

  • Provide general staff support.

The fall Political Fellow will be part of our team for a 3-4 month period with the possibility for extension. This is a part-time position beginning September 2021. Qualified candidates will have campaign or political experience, be proficient in Google Workspace, pay close attention to detail, and be motivated self starters. Applications will continue to be accepted until positions are filled.

This internship is appropriate for academic credit. Preferred majors include Political Science, Women's Studies, Public Policy, Social Work, and Public Administration. Because it is unpaid, applicants with the opportunity to receive school credit will be prioritized.

Vote Mama Foundation prides itself on practicing the values we advocate. We are a family-friendly workplace committed to a culture prioritizing both the importance of the work we do and balance with life outside of work. Because we recognize the necessity of an intersectional approach to advocacy, we actively seek to broaden the scope of our collective lived experiences in our hiring practices.

Interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter to:
